Colors, my feelings
Acrylic on Paper

The meaning behind my artwork is basically me. The red represents mean and anger. That is what people think that is all I am. The dark blue is like the body or shield that protects and hides my true me. The shades of purples is everything else I feel and think about the world. I think that is what people think of me so that is why I did this artwork. The black is the people that know both sides of me. This could represent anyone though.

Year: 2019
Art Foundation
Artist statement:
My artwork is suppose to represent deforestation of trees. The trees are like humanity and itself slowly dying off to the point were we can't survive with out them. This is all being caused by construction and the cutting of the trees. I think this should stop. That is why I did this project. This means a lot to me because I care about trees .I also care about nature. I hope this will inspire others to show what they mean to them and to the world. I hope this makes people stop cutting trees and think about the earth.

Materials: Prismacolor Markers, Paper, Crayons, Sharpie and Pencil

Artist Statement:
My artwork is suppose to represent young people becoming more obese over the years. The bird is suppose to represent a young healthy human being. It is slowly walking when he realizes he is hungry. So, he looks around and finds 2 choices of food. The pie from McDonald's or the food from is home that is healthy which is bird feed. So he thinks of his choices. The first is the pie from McDonald's which is unhealthy so he imagines himself all fat and is weak which is indicated from the color of his feathers and the fat bird. Then he looks at his second option which is his home natural food, bird feed. He imagines himself healthy and strong. He also imagines him being able to fly, which in the first one he couldn't. At the end he looks down at himself to think of what he is now and what he wants to be. The choice is for you to make.
